THe bottom status bar shows the date, time for next check, the name of the checked mailbox, progress and messages during mail checking.
To manually check mailboxes select a mailbox from the mailboxes combo (or SELECT ALL if you want check all configured mailboxes) and click on Check Mailboxes Now button.
Aura will start checking each of your mailboxes, displaying incoming messages in its main window.

While message checking information is shown in the top side of the Aura window, each message has two associated icons. The first is to highlight "Read Status" (if a mail icon is present the message is read, if no mail icon then only headers are available). The second to highlight "Spam Status" (red for Spam messages, yellow for unknown, green for Safe messages).
When you click on a message, its headers or text (if message was read) will be shown.
